Finally got the spring cleaning done - fresh oil and final drive, and mounted up my new Rifle +5. I'm 6'3" 34" inseam and ride with my son, who is currently around 5'6".
MASSIVE improvement over stock. I know, I know, it's been said 100 times. After much forum reading and reflection, Rifle got the nod. It looks big for sure, but the helmet turbulence/wind roar is just gone. Now I hear engine music. Went for a solo ride, and loved the honk approaching redline in the first couple gears.
I have a trip to PA next week, and I'm looking forward to a longer ride to see what feels good in terms of wind and heat management.
Initial impressions:
Anyone tried mounting their stock shield to the Rifle blocks?

Initial impressions:
- Very quiet with the shield about halfway up
- Perhaps additional wind on my sides - not sure about that yet
- With the shield all the way down, the air hits me in the neck and I get "roar" around the helmet (Schuberth C3)
- Slightly under halfway up, I get a little top of helmet whistle and air through the top helmet vent
- Halfway up, the roar goes away, the wind goes away, and I hear engine. I can also open my face shield at this point
- All the way up, and the wind is gone.
- At any time, if I stand up on the pegs, I get nice, smooth, quiet air on my helmet - no roar
