Met a Connie rider that used an o-ring as a throttle lock. Kept the o-ring on the bar end, and then rolls into the gap between the grip and bar end to lock the throttle. Seemed to to work OK for him, althought rolling it back out seemed a bit stickier. Tried it in the garage with my FJR and the o-ring disappeared in the gap. Suppose I could try narrowing the gap, but not fully convinced this is an effective method. Anybody else seen/tried this?
