The first night we stayed in Mariposa at the Miner Inn and enjoyed breakfast on the patio. We ate quickly since it was 31 degrees and the benches were a little cold.

We started taking pictures after entering the park at the south entrance.

Not much snow at 6000 feet, but they closed Glacier Point road and Tioga Pass that day.

First stop in the park was at Wawona Hotel where we were too late for a real breakfast.

I will let the pictures tell the story as we decended into Yosemite Valley.

We stopped for lunch at the Ahwahnee Hotel at 1pm.

The temperature had warmed up a little.

Man, that is a view that just blows me away every time I see it.

And for anyone who's never been there, I recommend it.

It's as amazing as anywhere on earth, and it's right here in the USA!

HYCLE, it could almost make me forget that I was freezing my *** off. I say ALMOST. :lol:
