So, lemme understand this.... a Family Law Judge from Texas thinks it's okay to beat his emotionally disabled daughter while screaming obscenities at her under the guise of "discipline"?! Because she downloaded music from the internet "against his Christian values"?!! YGTBSM!!!

By the way, I do believe it's legal in Texas to beat your kids. As far as I can recall it was legal for a teacher to hit a kid when I lived there. But man I would hate to have been the teacher who tried that with my kid. :assassin:

In fact, In the USA, teachers are allowed to physically hit students in 21 states.

Zilla -- thank you for cleaning up those messes for the rest of us. Seriously -- I do not know how you guys do it. I'm good and level headed and calm in emergencies, but still -- I could not do what you folks do. And I certainly wouldn't want those images and impressions to have become a part of me. The anger that video triggers in me would be something that would one day get loose and result in a serious beat down of the prick. Again, I don't know how you do it. But thank you and the rest of the LEOs who clean up the messes while being expected to always react appropriately -- that can't be easy in many situations.
