That's not an insult, by the way. I like dogs. In fact, I never met a dog I didn't like. Can't say the same about people. Of course, Will Rogers never met a lot of the folks I have, but I like dogs, like I said. So I'm thinking about how all motorcycle guys are so interested in other motorcycles. You know, come over and want to talk about the bike, what you've added, all that stuff. Even guys who used to ride a bike back in the 50's come over and have to talk about the bike they had, way back when. So I was thinking about that, and then my dog started barking at some dog walking past. Ever see two dogs just ignore each other? Me neither. They gotta sniff, exchange info: "so how do you like the leather collar? What kind of food does your person give you? Ever try that Alpo?"

Now, every time I pass another bike and the guy waves, or somebody turns his neck as I ride past, and I just know he's a biker, all I can think of is how he's like a dog, sniffing my butt. Hey, there's worse things you could say about somebody.

You could be on to something here Mike. I'm not happy just sniffing, I feel the need to mount the really nice ones. :D

And those Italian exotics...panting, salivating, all that canine behavior, it's an animal thing for sure.
