Los Angeles Times January 2, 2008 - As a hedge against water shortages and population growth, Orange County has begun operating the world's largest, most modern reclamation plant -- a facility that can turn 70 million gallons of treated sewage into drinking water every day. The new purification system at the Orange County Water District headquarters in Fountain Valley cost about $490 million and comprises a labyrinth of pipes, filters, holding tanks and pumps across 20 acres.

Actually I just started my new years resolution of getting thinner and I am in agreement with you regarding the middle man. I buy lunch at work, and take it into the bathroom and dump it in the toilet. That's my version of cutting out the middle man. Yesterday in day 2 of the whole buying lunch thing, someone that knows about m dumping it in the toilet seggested that I just take my money and flush that down the toilet, therefore saving the gas money to go buy lunch in the first place. Makes sense to me. So now I just flush my money, cutting out all middle men. :lol:
