ZX-!0s At The Bottom Of The Heap?

Is the ZX-!0 currently at the bottom of the liter bike heap? I'm just asking because the local multi-brand dealer is clearing out the 07s at 8 flat!

 
It could be there are a lot of ZX-10s in the warehous, AND the '08 is supposed to have "interesting" upgrades:

2 injectors per cylinder, new frame and swingarm, different body work more like the GP bike.

I'd guess they want the '07s off the floor before the '08s arrive.

 
Maybe there's a "slow-down" in the purchase of Litre bikes, certainly affected by the economy and the end of the riding season. Hmmmmm, similar to Harleys, are they reaching market saturation? :unknw:

Or perhaps...maybe...possibly the former customers of those sportbikes are beginning to "see the light" and are coming over to the SportTouring niche. :yahoo:

 
I am not sure what the mags say these days BUT I will chime in. My 06' 10R beats up on absolutely everything (STOCK to stock) on the road including the ZX12, ZX14, R1, CBR1000rr, Busa's Ect, ECt , ECt... The only thing that runs with it is the newest GsXR1000 til over 180 mph then the Zx10r waves buy to the gsxr's...Kawi's have always had long legs(gears). The 06's are the same as the 07's. So I don't think they are on the bottom of any pole position yet. BUT give it time...There is always something bigger and better coming out. The Zx14's can be modified to out do my 10. They come halfway governed from the factory... Secondary butterflies, computer limits power delivery and top speed and such. Stock to stock, the 10 will have the advantage over the 14. If you uncork the 14, they go WAY FAST AND HOW.

By the way... Just my opinion...

The C14 engineers did do the redesign on the 08 ZX10r's plastic.... THEY WRECKED A GOOD THING!..!.! IT IS TOTALLY UGLY and STUPID LOOKING!!!

Obviously they didn't take enough heat for the K1000 pipe.

Because they decided to copy it for the zx-10.

There is a reason none of the 5000 aftermarket cans look like trumpets.

It looks clownish......even if form does follow function.

Nah, it's all because the Buell 1125. While it is underpowered, it's louder and that has proven to be a successful combination in the past so all the real sport bike manufacturers are getting nervous. :lol:

Hey now !!!I just got home from test riding the new 1125r so don't knock it.It is pretty awesome to me!

I rode one a couple weeks ago as well....very impressive for a non-Harley Harley with that bombardier motor....
