Wondering if you can swap exhaust from gen's back and forth? Will Gen 2 fit Gen 1 and vice versa? Specifically from the two into one and back.

Here's some more info for you search dweebs like me. Just weighed my mufflers off of my 08 and they are 9.7 pounds compared to 8.0 pounds for the Gen1 exhaust I still have. I heard the Gen2's have a 3 and 4th Cat in each muffler, perhaps that ups the weight. It's noticeable when you hold one and then the other.

So.... I put the Gen1 cans on my Gen2. We'll see if it sounds any different, seems like the 08 is quieter than my 04 was. 25.5 more pounds to find!
