I would like some feedback on what kind of oil I should run this year. I was thinking on Rotella Synthetic 5W-40. But not sure how it will work on the transmission. Please feel free to leave feedback.

Do some reading in the "Never Ending Pointless Recurring Threads" section for all you want to know about oil! For what its worth, I have been running the Rotella 5W40 for the last 75,000 miles without any issues. Any new threads on oil in the regular forums are instantly banished to NEPRT.

Synthetic--odd # years, dino, even # years. Motor hasn't seized yet. Just make sure you change it before January's over or the ECU will crash.

My first guess, but haven't found any overt evidence. I thinkt he's a refugee ZX6 owner proud that he now has a "LEADER BIKE"....by 298 cc's! Regardless, I think he should get a little NEPRT dog-piling love to make him feel at home.
