As Lauren_TK said in the other thread - If they can integrate speed and tach in the HUD - I'll bite. A lot of money but the SHOEI Neotec ($600) and Shuberth C3 Pro ($770) aren't cheap either.

 
And I wonder if the helmet is actually quiet like a Neotech or Schuberth. Wouldn't even go near it if it wasn't.
I hadn't thought of the quietness issue.

Also, Skully has little experience designing helmets, and that makes me a little concerned on the protection side of things.

At some point, this type of technology will be picked up by the standard helmet manufacturers, and that is when I may think about getting a HUD helmet.

 
My guess is that the California Highway Patrol will make that technology illegal in California. I saw that the CHP had written the first ticket to a young lady wearing the new Google Glass device. She is contesting it.
