Man, I am SO glad I bought the KTM and chewed up any possibility of "updating."

Nothing (for me) to see here...

Man, am I glad this is on the other side of the country! I'd probably be in the shop to see how much they'd give me on my '08. . .

I kinda don't believe that you can get that bike for that price. I don't see anything in the fine print, but there must be a catch (besides it being gray)

I'm with Fred on this one...if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. There's gotta be a catch somewhere...

[and gray is beautiful!!!]

Only catch I see is that the price is a cash price only. Financing is more.
Which is ridiculous. When you use their financing they get to make more money on the transaction. If you pay cash (or go out and get your own financing and bring them the check) the price should be higher, not less.

It will be interesting to see what story Curley Joe gets.

If I can get this bike for $3500 lower than than MSRP I will buy it.

I agree, but when I purchased my FJR at Filers Powersports in Macedon NY, it was clearly explained to me that the woman in that financing dept office doesn't work for free.... "If you pay cash KJ, we bypass all her phone calling the lending institutions n paperwork involved, I save money, you save money, it's that simple!"

So old KJ wrote a check and saved some cash

I'll second that - FYB!!

Good to hear you got an awesome deal!! So does that set the bar at a new low with regard to price?? That has to annoy other dealers. I just do not understand what the benefit would be for a dealer to sell off a BRAND NEW one for that kind of money. I understand old stock being discounted to clear inventory and financial obligations.

Being that I am close to 100K on the '07(not that it really scares me. I just rode it another 6500 miles to SW-FOG) I just had to find out if this was real. I called them to verify then called Spanky. This was almost exactly how buying the '07 came about. Now I just need a ride to Petersburg, WV!

The deal is real! Just put a deposit on it. I will pick it up Saturday.
U better not be cranking our monkey grinder handle.

Big Congratulations!!! You now hold the title (and award) of "Mr. FJR wise-shopper"
