Great deal..........all part of my trickle down plan. Some of you are going to want to trade up to the Gen 4s with the "Whale **** White" paint scheme and I will gladly take that broken in Gen 3 RED, GRAY, or BLACK beauty. NO I am not taking a blue, because they are slow!!! and Ugly!!! Kidding. But the grand scheme still is in play.
In all seriousness, That is my real plan above. Mark this day, I called my shot on June 11th, 2015. Under $10K on on gently used Gen 3. I see it in my future.

I have an '07 that is just broken in (96k) that is available at half of your budget!

Very chivalrous of you, however, I will keep my 04 with 55K on it until it is ready to be moved on. I have it farkled well to my liking and she runs great. Some suspension freshening up is needed, but still very serviceable for now.

I am going to put together a thread with my impressions. I will say that, even with some slight changes, the stock seat still sucks! I forgot to take my RDL with me and the 204 mile ride home KILLED my ***. Other than that....AWESOME!!!! Put the RDL on last night and rode to work this morning. WOW! What a difference. I have yet to play with all the suspension adjustments. Don't know that I will ever take it out of sport mode though!
