Damn...where's that charger? Nowhere to be found!!!! Goddamn kids!!

Grumpy, you didn't tell me there was fresh oil in there! It was SO clean and new, I couldn't see it in the sight glass. Planned on new, anyway, but thought I'd pull the drain plug to get the last few drops. DAMN>>>>It was full!!

Oh fuk, who cares.....fresh new coolant....fresh new Rotella T Syn.....rolled out to the driveway so I could hook up the jumper cables to the wife's car.

Last minute check under the hood...everything is hooked up. Turn on the key...pump pressurizes the fuel rail. Say a Hail Mary, hit the starter. Cranks for about 10 seconds and THERE SHE GOES!!! Frankenbike cranks up after being dead, for me since February, but actually since June when Grumpy had his get-off.

Fuk this hard-ass workin'.....this fat fuk's goin' for a ride!!!!

Both wheels in contact with pavement - check.

No plate in case the Man notices lack of turn signals, headlight, etc. - check.

Silly ass grin on face of rider feeling the wind for the first time in nearly 8 months - check.

Single digit salute to Forum, (He watches over us all, eh?) - check.

Looking good RadioHowie!

Well done, that man, that's great :clapping: . S'pose we'll get less of your ranting on the Forum now, you'll be out riding. What a relief :yahoo: .

Not me, I just like lists. Not that I seem to get them all crossed off....

Fookin' Sweet!
Amen to that!

Button that baby up and don't forget the plate on the back this time. Then sneak off for a longer ride. Just remember, all the cagers are waiting to kill you. They've been jonesing for this day for months! Watch your ass brother!!

The least you can say Bust is what a sweet lookin' engine that is!!!!

Damn, Howie I told you that it had fresh Yamahalube Racing oil.....the oil had less than 200 miles on it! Rotilla schmilla....that engine is used to nothing but the best. Hell what you've done is sacrilidge.....or how ever you spell it?

Glad to see you're back on the streets again!!! Congratulations!!!

Damn, Jim. Guess I missed you telling me that. Fook! Woulda saved $20 for gas! :)

BTW, that oil WAS so clean, I couldn't even see the level in the sight glass. That's what made me go for fresh. I thought maybe you had dumped it.

Oh, BTW....it's true....'03 motors ARE stronger!

:yahoo:

Congrats on getting it running Howie.

Now, go read the forum rules again. I think your thread starting post hit all three bold items.

"You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, troll-like, or otherwise violative of any law."

The sense of accomplishment is very apparent in that grin. Almost like you're riding it for the first time. I sure hope I never have to take that kinda unscheduled time off....
