From one fat guy to another: Great job!!!!! Rest o' that plastic should only be an hour or so. And if you duck behind the windshield where nobody can really see, then everything'll look better!!!! :p

Great job Howie!!!!!!!

Now, before you blow another engine up, you better get a gremlin bell quick!

As for the rider -- Damn! Learn how to photoshop somebody else on there would ya? Ya looked like a damn manatee in heat on there --

You also looked very happy like the last time the wife put out a few years back.

Tim was smiling down on ya for sure.

This is my last post for the night. Not like I haven't posted once or twice today. :)

I can not express my gratitude enough to all you guys and gals who have followed me on my tribulations the past many, MANY months.

The good thoughts and best wishes, not to mention the incredible generosity of everyone involved.....'Howie will never forget.

You folks are the BEST!!!

'Howie

I don't get it, was there a starter problem? Why wasn't is running for so long? Where's your tupperware? What's the big deal? :p

CONGRATS HOWIE!!

Howie Rides again!!!

Ok Howie, Now that you'll get a good nights sleep and wake up and make that thing look like a bike again.

Let me know when you'll be in the Melbourne Area. I'll run up there and buy us a few cold ones.

You just did brother. Seeing you on the bike and in the wind was all the gratitude we need.

Worth every penny to see you turn it all around. From the deep well of despair and on the verge of selling a broken bike or the Kwak to being back on the road with a fresh engine and the knowledge that you did all the labor to make it happen. We just helped take you over the financial hump. You learned, you documented, you helped the next guy that needs to go down the engine swap path.

Well Done! :good:

That truly says it all! :clapping:

Go ride, 'Howie! (while I'm at work... grumble, grumble....)

+1 to what Eric said.

Seeing you taking your 1st ride post recommissioning is payback to all of us here!! Way to go Howie!!

Damn, man, I sure do love a story with a happy ending...

Now, you need to stop calling your trusty steed derogatory names like "Frankenbike".

There ain't nothin' ugly or makeshift about how you resurrected that ole girl.

As I told Professor ionbeam after the rebirth of his '04, you are now a member of the tiny club that qualifies to call your bike The Phoenix.

At ease, Sergeant BrunDog! RadioHowie-El Pinche Pescado Malo is a proud and noble member of Forum Los Robustos M/C.

We protect our own in our gang of eating and riding outlaws; like Sons of Anarchy. Brother Howie, like many others in Los Robustos, has simply built himself a sturdy, robust and stout shed for his tool. LRM/C tools must be protected at all times!!!

Didn't see this thread yesterday 'cause the missus and I was out ridin...

But I gotta say...

Jee-zus H Friggin Christ it's about damn time ya got yer ride on again. It's been gettin' depressing reading all yer pissing and moaning posts on here, what with ya not riding and not getting laid 'n all. <_<

:clapping:

Now that ya got 'er on the road again, take some damn time off work, go for a long-*** ride, take pictures, and give us a Howie Hits The Road ride report, would ya? Please?? Us northerners don't have many riding days left for the year...

BG

...what with ya not riding and not getting laid 'n all... BG do you think RH is now going to get laid just because FJR's running?

Last piece of "strange" RadioHowie got was when his index finger broke through the toilet paper. Said it was "damn strange"!

After seeing those pictures of him that's something I don't even wanna think about, but hopefully he'll lighten the 'F up a little bit. He's been kinda cranky... Maybe Bust could share his clean-shaven sheep with him...
