NHL Regular Season

Once again, my life of entertainment is whole. Tonight the Colorado Avalanche take on the Dallas Stars. This has become customary for these teams to start against each other. With pre-season games split, it promisses to be a good game. Then again, every hockey game is a good game.

Now that Mr. Wirtz has gone downstairs to receive his pitchfork...Chicagoland might start getting excited about hockey again...if they can start put something together. Back in the 60s they were bigger than the Bulls....lately not so much. Soccer team is even out drawing them.

No...that's the point...No one here likes the view. That's why no one is....well....um....watching.

It amazes me that a metropoitan area the size of Chicago cannot support their NHL team. No TV contract, low attendance, poor performance. Well, the thing that killed the Hawks is the loss of the TV contract, before that their following was bigger. There are still the loyal Blackhawk fans and they and the team deserve better. Havlat is simply one of the best players in the NHL. You all should be out watching him!

yeah, poor wings....all that talent.....just down the tubes when it comes playoff time.....and stupid vancouver just "let anaheim off the hook".....stupid ducks.
