Ok, it is an overtime loss....but we still got a point out of it. Who has allowed only 8 goals in six games? Anybody? Kids? Wild are taking it to STL tonight....should be a good game since the blues have only allowed nine goals in five games.

Making up for lost time...
Went to the Montreal- Buffalo game last night in Montreal. Canadians won 4-2 but this was my first time at the new downtown Forum and I'm impressed! Everything from great off ice entertainment, anthems, all the old time great Canadians players names flashed on the ice in a darkened arena then their pictures displayed on the ice where their names were, then the players were intro'd on the gumbotron in very high quality large screens, camaras playing over the crowds continually, high jinks and high spirits! Even the Canadians warmup seem to be taken from the Harlem GlobeTrotters routine; the drills changed quickly and everybody was moving in surprising sync; Buffalo just seemd to stand around the blue line and wait for someone to pass them the puck.
Anyway I've been to a LOT of hockey games and arenas and this one is top notch in creativity and marketing genius. Add the crazy Montreal hockey fans and you've got a winner! All this plus we were able to drive to Montreal and park a block from the downtown Forum with no traffic and leave easily the same way, all on a Sat night! You would be hard pressed to go to a local Senators game in Ottawa without sitting in traffic for an hour getting there or getting home! The Montreal downtown area bars & public transit just sucked up the crowds like a sponge. Guess it's been too long since I've been to a BIG city.

Montreal, eh? Sounds like a great stadium.....and a great marketing campaign they have goin. And parking a block away from the stadium is the cat's ass.

The pens will be a power house but it will not be this year if they play it right they could win the cup a couple of times in a row . My team is the RANGERS and they dont look too good right now there not together ther out of sync.
