Friday garbage time. More Totally Useless Tips™ Glitz up your posts with genuine ASCII symbols!
Be sure your numeric key pad is turned on; this has to be done with the key pad. Press and hold the ALT button then type the number, when you release the ALT button the symbol will appear. This is a short list, there are a bunch of other symbols available.
