Skyway is no longer a preferred vendor on this board to be sure...and discussed ad infinitum with people wanting to mainly vent, and vent...and vent.... but not really do anything about it. I not only sympathize with the frustration people have had, but also talked to him on several occasions to ask him to make things right. He's said he would, but seemingly never did. As of 2010 it appears he's out of business.

Beyond this forum there are other options...I suggest anybody wronged actually use them:

If you missed this thread initially and ordered something recently...call your credit card company and have the charges blocked. Cite BBB complaints that have been made in the past.

They suggest that a claim less than $5000 would not likely be something the state or a prosecutor would pursue and that one may need to go to small claims court.

Several folks thought it would be entertaining to make divisive shots about Skyway in threads completely unrelated to their plight. That's going to stop.

There is this thread about the specific subject with my special note.

Beyond that there's the Vendor Feedback area subject to those rules--if you haven't posted already.

Otherwise, endless ranting is beyond tired. So stop the following::

  • Rants, quips, digs, jabs, etc.
  • Links or references to previous comments or off-topic comments
  • Engaging in passive-aggressive stunts like changing your signature, avatar, or other personal settings
  • Suggestions of lawsuits unless you have a title like J.D. after your name..and even then you really shouldn't
  • Any post that isn't constructive or specifically focused on reasonable resolution of this issue
Folks who can't deal...may find their board privileges curtailed.

Word.
