I think they're C-14's
+1...def looks like the stock C-14 exhaust cans.

The FJR & C-14 are common choices for Police bikes. This is nothing unusual. At least Police depts are wising up and getting better bikes. The Atlanta motorcycle cops are still riding around on Harleys.

Huh? I've not seen any FJR police bikes in the states. Across the pond, yes. But not here. Here in the U.S. if not BMW, it seems they are primarily the ST1300 and now the C-14 is gettting more share.

Concur.

After a few seconds Googling...they're running at least one 2011 C-14. No signs of FJRs.

Correct. I thought this was an international forum? I didn't realize all of my points should be U.S.A. confined nor did I state I see them all the time on police forces in the States. I'll start using *footnotes from here on out so I don't cause you anymore confusion! :p ........... :D

I live near Sanford and go over there regularly but have not seen the C-14(s) from their department. On my side of the swamp our local deputies have switched over to ST1300's so see those and HD's regularly.

Local Titusville PD got rid of their two bikes (HD's) due to the budget crunch - which is good because the one cop used to sit just on the opposite side of the bridge coming into town (near the Yamaha dealer where I bought my bike); the speed limit goes down to 30 mph right there and even knowing about it sometimes you forget. I had not gotten bit there but know plenty that did. I have not seen LEO presence there since the motor cop dept for T'ville has been disbanded.

Anyone know why so many departments stick with the Harleys?? Even after most of their bike cops beg, plead and harrass to go to another brand?

Because Harley makes departments a Hellavua deal. The department pays for the first shipment of bikes. Then every few years, I don't remember exactly how many any more, I think 3, Harley takes their used bike back and replaces it for free with a brand new one. Know why?? Because the Harley police models cannot be sold new to the civilian market, so dealers can sell the used police bikes for more than they sell the new one.

Personally, I would not want a used police anything. We service them very regularly, but they get driven like they are stolen most of the time.

The BMWs are still very popular over the ST1300s because the Hondas are expensive and just plain suck. They are governed around 110, and wobble like a mo-fo over 100. Most guys are not that impressed with them. The BMWs for the most part just work. Very reliable, fast, and comfortable.

The only department I know that has a full stable of the Concourses is El Paso Police Department, and I have no idea how they like them. I haven't been keeping up, so I don't know much about how they are performing as police bikes. However if the civilian models are still having the warping brake rotor issues, you can bet the cop bikes are gonna cause lots of gripes, as cops are not easy on brakes.

Whoa! A babe with a badge on a bike!

I wonder if she has the furry lined handcuffs too?
Dude, your babe is a small dude with hairy delicate arms and is wearing a vest. I guess the vest made you think that this was a flat chested woman, but no luck.

Damn!

You are kinda of making Bust look normal. I have to give it too you though. That little guy looks pretty good on that C-14.

As much as I'd like to give Skooter a hard time about getting excited about a guy....I think it's a gal too. I think this is the same person smiling on a piece of Milwaukee Iron...and that white spot to the right of their arm crook.....doesn't appear to be a bunched up bit of kevlar. She does have some nice biceps though... :D

Iggy is right, she is Officer Tina Leman. Now if you have HotRodZilla wear that red strapless cocktail dress of his, with the ****-me-faster sequined high heeled shoes, you would have to hold Skooter back with a choke chain and a shock collar!
