Due to other commitments and a lot of recent time off, I can't get to EOM

except for Sat night.

I can ride down on Sat and back home on Sun.

I know I would enjoy riding with other feejers and meeting their owners

but just don't have enough time.

The routes themselves are great! I've ridden those roads, on several different bikes, over

the last few years.

Still, even though it's just 1 night, I'd get a chance to see a lot of farkle-ization in

the parking lot.

That would be worth it for me to make the trip cause my 08 is still pretty new to me

(and still pretty much stock too).

Riding back north on Sunday, I'll try and do the Sunday Brunch at Monterey's Highland Inn.

FYI........................since Monterey is on one of the routes.................................

Here's a link for the Highland Inn (click)

If you ride thru Monterey you can't miss it. Sunday...….Brunch Buffet…11:30am–2:00pm.

Look forward to meeting you.

As for the Highland Inn, Mrs. Jager and I have been known to go waaaaay out of our way for a good brunch

:thumbsupsmiley: I actually went to the Highland for brunch and back home one Sunday (650 mile round trip).

Last year, while on a European bike trip, I stopped for fuel in Germany. I went in to pay and saw a nice little pocket sized

bottle of Jagermeister, so I bought it.

I went back out to the bike and the clerk came out. His English was pretty good. He told me that he had gone to the States

and visited Sturgis and a few other things that I didn't understand.

Then he said, "Here, you have to have this" and handed me this 6 inch diameter round Jagermeister sticker. Why? I don't

know but I think it was meant for you.

I'm bringing it to Lewisburg and its yours. :)

What part of Germany? Do you remember which town the gas station was in?

We're in the early stages of planning a trip to Germany (possible Scandinavia, also) next year. It'd be a hoot to take the sticker, find the clerk, and give him back the Jager sticker that rode EOM, on the other side of the world!

Then again, it'd look great on the Black FJR!

Sorry, my memory is not that good. I remember the incident clearly but not where exactly it was.

All I know for sure is it was on the way to Bonn from Rothenburg.

(I know that because I remember drinking it when we got to the hotel in Bonn). ;)
