Just finished the last of the services for the AR trip!
Last week was flushing the fluids and swapping the oil filter.
This weekend was swapping the toasted Avons for a new set of Pilot Roads, servicing the final drive, and new brake pads (clean/service the calipers too) all around (the Carbone-Lorraines that were buy-2 get one free as part of the Spiegler group buy.
I had the fronts changed back in 2003 at the Lake City checkpoint. The rears were hardly worn, so they stayed.
At 28462 miles, the pads were:
Rear: 6/32nds & 6/32nds
R Front: 4/32nds & 6/32nds
L Front: 4/32nds & 5/32nds
So figure 2 for one swaps (front vs rear).
