I heard they're gonna put a V8 in it so the C14 owners will finally shut the **** up about having a bigger motor.

So there's that rumor and the one about Beemerdons and Howie laying together naked and pasty...Caressing each others' wrinkly skin. Beemerdons has that look in his eye because he's the outside spoon...

The article on page 24 of the July issue also indicates a cross plane motor, linked ABS and traction control, but I am always skeptical of any information I read in Motorcyclist Magazine. They always are shooting their mouths off about upcoming improvements, then the fact of the matter usually proves them dead wrong.

I hope they do not lose power by adding 100cc! I owned the very first BMW R90S sold in the State of California, that incredible Beemer motor stayed throughout the years 1974, 1975 and 1976. In 1977 the R100S was introduced and that engine had LESS torque and horsepower, always leery when they screw with perfection engineering!

Hey AJ, if one is going to spoon you always go for the outside position! Even SkooterG and Bustanut joker know that fact, you must be living under a rock in Bernalillo!

This months Motorcyclist has a teaser photo
Bah! If all Yamaha can do is another 'me too' sport tourer, by upping CC's and probably adding a 6th speed (and don't forget the extra 50 to 75lb that comes with it but of course you don't really feel it on the road). Phhht... Cross plane crank.

Fuggetaboutit!

I guess some folks don't pay much attention to the rest of the forum before they come on to post. What is this, the 7th or 8th post about that blurb?
