New member. 2012 fjr1300

Hey guys I’m a new member and just picked up a 2012 Yamaha fjr1300. Decent bike with akrapovic carbon fiber slip ons, corbin hard as rock seat, lol. I have already received my helibar handlebar upgrade and I am in the process of installing it. I also ordered a set of guarld highway pegs. Any other recommendations for aftermarket parts ir upgrades?

Ride it and then decide what YOU want to improve/change. There are a lot of "Farkels" you can add but only you can know if it's needed or wanted.

Welcome to the forum! I also have a 2012. I agree that you should do some riding, but here are some things that I think you will want regardless.
Front fender extender will keep your bike cleaner and spray off your feet.
Replece the plastic radiator guard with a metal one. They come in aluminum and titanium and may save your radiator from debris damage.
Sliders. I got mine from T-rex. Easy to install and will save the plastics should you drop it or lay it down.
Other things to consider include a brake light modulator (Vizi-Tec) and a touring windscreen (Vstrom), depending on your height, seat height, helmet noise, etc.
