Hi Guys.. Anyone facing the above Problem in their FJR ?

Past Few days, i notice ABS Light is Blinking in my Gen 4 FJR.
It Blinks for few Minutes and Goes off and comes back again.

Is there any Issue in the Braking Sys where i need to do some cleaning ?

If anyone encounter such problem, How did you resolved it. Can share ? Thanks

Start with removing, cleaning and re-greasing the rear brake pedal. The pivot gets sticky and should be serviced at least annually.
It wouldn't hurt to remove the ABS sensors and make sure they are clean.

Edit: Does your cruise control work properly? A sticking rear brake pedal will also prevent the cruise from engaging.

Hi Kean.
Thanks for your prompt reply.
Will get the rear brake pedal cleaned soon.
Riding this bike for past 3 Months and have not tried the cruise control yet. Maybe will try again after cleaning the rear brake pedal.

Thanks

Easy stuff first. Like Ross said, remove and clean the ABS sensors on each wheel. Spray them with something like ACF-50 to remove and prevent corrosion.

If you like to keep one finger on your brake lever with the cruise on (just not engaged) it can trigger the cruise to go into error.

While you're cleaning the wheel speed sensors (front and rear), check the rotor with the slots in it (Hall Effect rotor) to make sure it has no debris nor corrosion that would also interfere with that circuit. I check them often on my FJR as I've had debris mess up the electronics on my R-1 track bike... and it's even easier than cleaning the pick up sensor. Good luck!
