I ride around Fayettenam a lot on PGR missions. I've never had a problem but there was a rumor a while back that part of the initiation to some gang wa to run a biker off the road. It's best not to ride alone.

Most of my miles use to be open road and flat land (Okahoma and interstates). I live in NC now and spend a lot more time on curves. So it's a different wear pattern. But I can live with it.

I'll go with the majority opinion and ride more, stress less. Although I thought the softer rubber was just on the outer 1.5 inches or so on the RP 2. Thanks guys.

My Road Pilot 2 tires seem to have a strange wear pattern, or maybe it is just me. The sides seem to have flat areas, the back more than the front. And the center patch has a smaller flat area. Is this normal, it is my first Road Pilot 2 on the back. Here is some links to photos. Hope the links...

Joe, I'd like to check the oil level in my forks. I was trailering cross-country during a move and some oil leaked out while it was strapped.. I'll bring some oil. Can you recommend a weight and quantity? Thanks, Rich ('07)

Anyone ever try dealing with the guy? I called the shop as instructed, no one including the parts manager knew what I was talking about. They said they would talk to Tony and call me back. That didn't happen. Then I sent an email to Tony, No response there.

I just added the Ergo tube to my '07. No problems at all. I was able blow off the old grip with compressed air and reuse it. My only regrets is that I did not add the tube before I road the Dragon on a 3,000 mile trip last week. Next year will be better.
