Throttlemeister vs TopGun End weights and Vista Cruise

OK Throttlemeister costs twice what the TopGun weights and a Vista Cruise cost. The TM weighs about 1/2-1oz more than TopGun and has some cooler finishes. Question is 1.) which works better as a throttle lock and 2.) will the slightly extra weight of the TM be an improvement over TopGun? I...

    LED Tail Light

Has anyone tore apart their tail light assy to install Chrome Glow 48 LED bulbs. They need a 2" hole to go thru. 2004 FJR doesn't have that so tearing the assy out and apart seems to be the only way to do it. Supposedly the LED are more than twice as bright as stock with much less wattage use.

    Sportster vs. FJR

I'll bite. I've ridden Jap Rockets in the 70s,80s,early 90s and decided to mellow out with a Harley. I have a 2007 Sportster Custom XL1200-C with a big bore kit. NOS not yet installed. Have -100HP at RW. Also have a 2004 FJR1300AS with roughly 125HP at RW. Both bikes feel top heavy but...

Sell the FJR, or will a PCIII fix the throttle?

A simple fix for not being able to handle the twisties with your FJR is to get a Husqvarna 510SMR. They're cheap @ $7200+/- and an additional $1000 for the Power Up kit and Power Commander. Almost doubles the HP from stock and those turns just disappear!

    My 05 FJR vs. HD

Well, I like all the bikes I have and had. I can't believe there is such a thing as a bad bike. My Harley has only given me smiles. Each bike has it's purpose, but mostly to have fun with. My FJR was a whale on the highway until I dialed the suspension in. Now it's smooth and silky, yet sharp...
