What happens with AE if it runs out of gas?

How about just roll down on open stretch of road and highway speed, hit the thumb kill switch and see what happens? Isn't that about as close to a controlable "out-of-gas" situation? Thats what I would do....

question about B spec tires. (not looking to buy)

Just put a set of Bridgestone BT-023 GT's on Friday. Basicaly the 'B' spec, and only available in our size front and rear, imagine that. I had Pilot Power CT2's on prior. The new ones feel soooo much better in the corners 2up than the Powers. Not sure if it was just having new rubber or not, but...

Engine cuts out when throttle is turned

Um...maybe I'm going about my countersteering technique all wrong. Full lock right, and lean left, for a U-turn??? (left I'm assuming). That move alone should really make those Harley guy's jaws drop! :clapping: HAHA...just messing with ya!

    Clutch lever gap problem.

In my past 12 years of being an auto mechanic I have seen at least 50 problems similar to his complaint, only with brakes, and mostly on Hondas of all types and years. Cold everything is fine, then as engine compartment temps come up, all the freeplay in the brake pedal goes aways and the brakes...

    No more CCT rattle

And by dropped I mean from a standstill. Scratches showed no forward movement. I'm sure it was a bad day for the guy.

    No more CCT rattle

Yea it sure is. Found it just north of L.A. At a small dealership. They had it for about 3 months with sticker of $6999 then one day I saw it relisted on cycle trader for $5399 which was well within my price range and after calling I found out it had been dropped once on each side and the owner...

    No more CCT rattle

Ahhhhh, silence is bliss! Cam chain had a light rattle since I bought my '05 a couple months ago, with only 9,700 miles mind you, and I didn't think much of it. After a few thousand miles of listening to it rattle more little by little :crazy:I ordered up one of the revised one's, slapped her in...

Is the CO adjustment procedure wrong?

Yea.....Ionbeam PM'd me pretty quick about this and laid it to rest. I forgot that they had done extensive testing on individual cylinders with an analizer in each head tube. Sorry, didn't mean to get started on this again, still new. :dntknw: Miles

Is the CO adjustment procedure wrong?

Okay I know that many, many of you have gone in and richened up your bikes with the help of the Barbarian Mod and have been very happy wih it, and that we understand that the individual "C" settings are for each cylinder. I was talking with a buddy today at lunch who rides a R-6, and he said he...

    Barbarian mod on my '05

Check out this link on how to adjust the CO. The link to do the mod to access this screen is on there to. You can essentally richen or lean each cylinder across the board. The idea is mainly to get rid of the "lean spot" at low throttle conditions. https://www.fjrtech.com/getdbitem.cfm?item=26

    Barbarian mod on my '05

I re-read the procedure on FJRtech again and still don't see any '05 specific info. It looks like Ionbeam is refering to the '04 model year. Tell me I'm just blind! Haha

    Barbarian mod on my '05

It seems life I've been searching for a week now on the exact procedure on how to do the CO jumper mod for my '05. The original Barbarian mod shows exactly how to do an '03 and an '04 but mentions nothing of my year. I've also seen all the write-ups on the Gen II bikes. The '05 pin and...
