    Lolo Pass

I've had the pleasure of riding Lolo Pass twice on a 48 (not a 48/10... a 48/21) Both times from Idaho -> Montana. First trip was on my Road Star with 13 Harleys. I had fun but following the tour pack of an ultra classic got old fast! I rode ahead of the group the second half. This...

    2015 Ride for Miracles - 48 states, 21 days

Well I do work for Aflac, so indirectly they paid for the motorcycle. Aflac did donate $10k to the ride in honor of 2 employees that are on the ride, myself included. ALL expenses of the ride; gas, hotels, meals, etc., are paid by the riders. Every penny that is donated goes directly to...

    2015 Ride for Miracles - 48 states, 21 days

I've been intending to share the progress of the ride sooner, but I haven't had a chance. We are 12 days and 20 states into the ride. We've had great weather aside from a very rainy day in Southern Colorado and some rain after lunch today in Montana. Will share some more soon. Until then...

    Recommendations for a pillion dry-bag?

Thank you all for your input. I was leaning towards the Black Wolfman duffle, but when I went to order it along with some gloves from RevZilla, it was out of stock. I took that as divine intervention from the Farkling Gods and went with the KwikTec DryPak Duffle. After all, I hear that it's...

    Recommendations for a pillion dry-bag?

I am leaving May 1st for a 48 state, 22 day charity ride and I'm looking at options for a drybag to sit on the pillion. I have an E55 top case on the way, but I need some additional room for charity related gear that I would not normally have to worry about on an MC trip. I would also use this...

UPS lost my Givi E55. RevZilla made it right.

I feel your pain... I'm 6'4" 265# and I've had an interesting time finding 4 season gear that fits. RevZilla has been great. Next time I need gear I'm just ordering several sizes/options. I'll gladly pay the return shipping. They can tack on a convenience fee too as far as I'm concerned.

UPS lost my Givi E55. RevZilla made it right.

I also just received an email from RevZilla apologizing for my trouble and offering $10 in TZ cash. Very impressed.

UPS lost my Givi E55. RevZilla made it right.

There might be a Givi E55 floating around Montgomery Alabama for the taking. I went to check the tracking on my Revzilla order and I see this: "Merchandise is missing. UPS will notify the sender with additional details. / All merchandise missing, empty carton was discarded. UPS will notify the...

Good, bad, and the FUGLY Givi Top Case Bracket

I do leave the top case on 90% of the time. Sidecases are on 99% of the time. (Always joke about the sportbike guys; if you have to wear a backpack on your motorcycle you have the wrong bike.) I do like the idea of getting them powder coated. I'll be selling the '06 soon, so those will stay...

Good, bad, and the FUGLY Givi Top Case Bracket

It looks like I could buy both brackets and combine them, but then I would have $305 dollars invested and basically a spare E228 bracket (Retail: $105) that I would have to sell second hand for less. :/

Good, bad, and the FUGLY Givi Top Case Bracket

Does anyone else hate the look of the Givi Monokey top case bracket as much as I do? I have the SR357 (with grab handles) on my '06. I don't mind the grab handles too badly... since they double the capacity of the trunk I can definitely live with the bars. But the mounting plate is hideous...
