Joe Rocket makes good on their guarantee.

I purchased a pair of Joe Rocket Ballistic 5.0 pants on clearance for $69 from Cycle Gear in Atlanta about 9 months ago. I know, you usually get what you pay for, and this was no exception. To make a long story short, when I sent them back to Joe Rocket last week, I had replaced both full-leg...

    How many tickets?

    Zero, because I never exceed 5 mph less than the posted limit. ;) :P ;) :P ;) :P ;) :P ;) :P

NESBA track day @ Road Atlanta

Cool pics...thanks for sharing. Pictures #3, 4, 5 and 6 are most interesting because they vividly illustrate the different styles of the rider. I think the guy in pictuer #6 (bike #401) has the best form.

    What's the 'Harley' appeal?

This thread is REALLY tiresome. I can't believe it has this many posts. Isn't that horse dead yet? Let's see TWN's Grandma again. NOW THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT!!! :clapping:

What kind of lock do you carry?

This Master Lock retractable lock is what I use to lock jackets, pants & helmets to the bike. Works great, inexpensive and does not take up much room. Master Lock Retractable

    Dunlop Roadsmart Street/ST Tires

I tried mine out this weekend too, and I love the way they handle. I could take it all the way down to the pegs with minimal countersteer. In fact, it felt like I could do it with no hands...not that I actually would. Thank goodness I didn't hit any greasy spills, but they do recover quickly...

    What's the 'Harley' appeal?

If any of us got the whole Harley thing, we wouldn't be on this forum, we would be on the Harley forum.

    Riding buddy crashed

I said a prayer for your buddy just now. I hope it helps. I hate to hear news like this. Best wishes to him and his family.

    Riding in the rain

I ride in it when I get caught in it, but I don't go looking for it. If the chance of rain is 40% or above I take the cage. Of course, sometimes when the weather man says there is a 30% chance, we get all 30 of it. The FJR handles well in the rain and gives pretty good protection from the...

    Your favorite Scotch

+1 on the Tequila. Never tried that one, may try it if I can find it. I usually drink Patron anejo or Don Julio repazado (not sure I spelled repazato correctly, but who cares). For some reason, the Don Julio repazado tasts better than the anejo to me.

    Ever wave to a motorcyclist...

Yes, and I have had cagers wave at me. When I am riding and a cager waves, I assume that they ride. Perhaps when I wave from my cage, the riders makes the same assumption. When I’m in the cage, I don’t wave at every motorcycle, but I have caught myself waving without thinking.

    Sunday Morning Rides

You're welcome. Looks like California has 128 routes posted on the website. I'm sure you can find a few good ones in there.

    can't sync the throttle bodies

Yep, it is a matter of volume. The little plastic tubes do not provide enough air volume, so the engine just sucks the fluid into the throttle bodies. The vacuum chambers are like shock absorbers, providing a cushion of air between the engine and the oil.
