I don't think it is a trick. We chose the FJR for a reason, but not everybody will come back with the FJR as a match. The site has no connection to FJRforum.com. Interesting, huh?

I would LOVE to try a track day. but haven't had the opportunity. Honestly, I haven't MADE the opprotunity. It seems like a lot of money to spend for a couple of hours of fun. Never really had a pucker moment with an oncomming car though, just gravel...oh yea, and tar snakes once. No speeding...

Will they make me want to go slower on the street? Kinda like Prozac for motorcyclists?

Michele and I rode with Sean that day. It was the second ride we had been on together, and we were starting to get to know him. Both times, he spoke about Bailey. It was obvious that he loved her dearly. Sean was a fun loving guy, full of character. You could tell by that silly red Mohawk...

Yeah, but you're OK though. At least you married a southern girl. It was a pleasure meeting ya'll...hope to see "yous guys" (see I can speak Yankee) again soon. ;)

Thanks for putting this ride together, Mike. Mrs. Twisty and I had a great time. We both agreed that it was one of the best rides yet. It was really fun to meet some new friends and see some old ones. There are some really good people on this forum.

I'm a mechanical engineer specializing in factory automation. In other words, I put people out of a job so that I can keep mine.

I think the top speed is 35mph...or is that 135mph...I'm not sure. :rolleyes:

I agree completely, not just on long rides, but on day trips too. That's why Mrs. Twisty and I ride alone most of the time. That way, we can go where we want, stop when we want, and spend as much time as we want when we stop.
