Gathering of the Clans! When and Where?

Well, hard to justify $100 being its only 50 minutes from home, but what the hell. Got a room at Motel 6 for Sat night. I'll ride down Sat morning and meet the mangy collection Sat morning....that is if y'all haven't been thrown out or in jail yet!

Has anyone mounted Cardo G-series on a Shoei Neotec

Well, I certainly didn't go to all that trouble! I have the G4 set but I"m sure the clamp is the same, and I'm sure it can't be any different than the Multi Tech. They do glue the liner to the shell, but all I did was take a butter knife and insert in between the shell and liner to break it...

    Dog Angel Waits

Thanks Don. 2 weeks ago we put down our yellow Lab of 13.5 years. Hardest thing I've ever done and we continue to struggle with the empty house. :( Slowly getting easier but it will take ahwile.

    Moto GP Laguna Seca

We go every year. Have camp spot B81 overlooking the entrance gate. Always a good time..........although I'd love to see Moto2 and Moto3 run at this track! I usually ride the Tuono up while the wife ferries the RV....can't get much better than that :yahoo:

    *Sold* No-Mar

That is a heck of a deal. I have the same setup, although the extension of the bead breaker handle is something I don't have. Not that its ever been a real big issue but more leverage would have been nice in some situations. The shipping will be a bit pricey but even at the asking...

    Rider RIP 229

I didn't know him either, although I heard on the local rider forum he was a CMC guard and a very conciencious rider with over 20 years riding experience. As you know, that road, without any centerline markings, can be hazardous. It was probably a combination of both parties being closer to the...

    California Central Coast (Part 2)

Good Job. You saw some of the best roads our area has to offer. Barrie knows them all well and knows the good places to stop and eat :clapping: Glad you got to experience it. It is a slice of heaven to be sure!

    Garmin Zumo 550 Memory Limitations

I've been under the assumption that the 550 is limited to a 4GB SD Card...???? No? I could swear I read that somewhere...that the max size SD card the 550 could use is 4GB.

April 14th, 2012 - NorCal meets SoCal RTE at Big Sur River Inn, Big Sur, CA

Hey Don, If you're so inclined, and your time frame supports, I'm planning on being at the Cambria Shell station at 8:45, and then up road to SSSP at 9:00 for whoever may or may not be there...not sure who is or isn't camping but will stop there to meet whoever is there. Saturday's weather is...

    Leguna Seca MotoGP weather

The event AuburnFJR references is the same one I mention, which is the only time I can ever remember it getting so hot they gave away water (I've been going to LS since the early 80's). I wouldn't agree that if the fog clears before 10 it will be getting "very hot". Like I mentioned, it can...

    Leguna Seca MotoGP weather

Typical weather is mild. Starts out foggy in the morning clearing anywhere from 8-10 in the morning giving way to sun. Afternoon coastal winds usually start kicking in around 1 or 2. Temps will start out in the 50's, and climb to the 70's, maybe low 80's but then the coastal winds will cool it...

April 14th, 2012 - NorCal meets SoCal RTE at Big Sur River Inn, Big Sur, CA

Copy that. I figured it might be a herding cat situation (thanks for that Tyler :P )......and I despise herding cats, so it will be whatever it will be. I'll just plan on heading to SSSP on Sat morning picking up any FJR derelicts I run across on the way :yahoo: Randy

April 14th, 2012 - NorCal meets SoCal RTE at Big Sur River Inn, Big Sur, CA

So, it appears there are folks scattered all over on the south end of this meet up for a Saturday morning ride up the coast. I'm in Nipomo, but we have folks leaving from Santa Maria (I think), Morro Bay, Creston, etc. Might be nice if we could pick a time and possible meet up point to enjoy...

April 14th, 2012 - NorCal meets SoCal RTE at Big Sur River Inn, Big Sur, CA

Considering this is in my back yard, and a good opportunity to meet more forum folks, count me in. We'll have to coordinate a meeting place and time for everyone coming from the south.
