    Favorite twisty?

What is your favorite twisty road in Washington? Now I'm talking about something at least 45 miles long, traffic not to bad, and decent pavement. Could be sweepers or peg scrapers, preferably no more than a few hours from the Seattle. Good cafe or roadhouse would be a bonus. Suggestions? TIA, Dave

    Stripped slider bolt

Got the plastic off (again) and found a very nice little spacer in the frame held in by a pinch bolt. After removal I gained plenty of room for a drill bit and to install a helicoil with out dropping the motor. Lots of meat in the engine mount to drill out as well. Got the helicoil on order (not...

    Stripped slider bolt

So got all the electrical bugs worked out and you know what happened, yeah, I stripped out the 12X1.25 bolt that holds my motivation sliders (right side) on. I get the heli coil thing but has anyone used the time-sert widgets? Better than the heli coils? Second question is do I need to drop the...

    Blowin fuses!!

Looked at the wiring diagram in the manual and saw that the horn was also on that fuse circuit. I have the horn going through my fuse block. Fuse block is ony powered when I turn the key on through another relay that senses power to the running lights. Fuse only blew when I started the bike so...

    Blowin fuses!!

No heated grips and the headlights are on a different fused circuit - only extras are man horns and a GPS that are run off of a Blue Sea fuse block. Off to the garage to strip off the plastic.

Sooooo, If you recall I thought that I may have an impending spider problem and had an issue with blowing the fuse that runs the brake light, neutral indicator and the windshield motor. I got the Brodie harness installed (Thanks Brodie, quality work there, and thanks Ashe for selling me...

Do I have an impending spider problem?

Scuba and Kaitsdad, thanks for the reply. I have found and checked all the spiders, visually they appear ok - there is no catastrophic melting. Was kind of hoping for a big glob of goo so I could be sure of the problem. :glare: I have a Brodie harness on the way, so if nothing else I'll get...
