Sooooo,
If you recall I thought that I may have an impending spider problem and had an issue with blowing the fuse that runs the brake light, neutral indicator and the windshield motor.
I got the Brodie harness installed (Thanks Brodie, quality work there, and thanks Ashe for selling me yours...), put the bike back together, turned the key and everything is cool and working. Hit the starter and she starts....and promptly blows the fuse again.
I ran the brake lights, and windshield motor with it not running and the fuse did not blow.
I did find on the right side of the bike what looks like to be mouse nest . I now fear that a mouse with a taste for wire insulation has chewed into a wire and caused a short causing the fuse to blow, but the fact that it only blew when I started the bike confuses me - any ideas?
I will be removing plastic from the right side tomorrow to look for obvious causes....
