    Headlight Lens Restoration System?

I did ask Cee Badly if their headlight protector has any uv protection and they said no.

Do these front/rear pads work for a 2014? If yes, I'll take them. PM sent.

How to best power a heated vest?

Thanks. That may be it! If it's 3A then it was probably not from SLIME as the SLIME air compressor requires 15A. It must be from my battery tender.

How to best power a heated vest?

Thank you all. I'm about to wire a pig tail with fuse to the battery. I found a set of wire (that I believe came from the Slime air compressor originally) with a flat blade fuse with 'E' on it, instead of a number indicating 'A' (current). What is 'E' rated for? I have never seen it before. Here...

    MRA X-screen

Thanks Twigg, where you using the clamp-on or bolt-on x-creen at the time?

    do-it-yourself 600-mile sercice?

I change the oil and filter and the gear oil the first time today on my '14 A. It has 659 miles. The oil drain plug was removed with 45 ft.lb and everything was fine. The Yamaha oil filter I got already has a coat of something that looked like silicon grease on the gasket after I removed the...

    MRA X-screen

Thanks. Any drill bit for metal is fine? I only need to drill 4 6mm (1/4") holes.

    MRA X-screen

I just received and installed a MRA X-creen on my 2014 FJR. It has lots of adjustability so I'm still fine tuning it. I ordered the one with clamp and it comes with both mounts: a bolt-on mount and a clamp-on mount. The clamp-on mount puts the spoiler higher, while the bolt-on mount can be...

How do you lift a bike for maintenance?

Thank you Scott, I thought there is some room around the drain plug area that we can jack it up there. mike-

How do you lift a bike for maintenance?

I'm new to the FJR too. Are the headers strong enough to lift the front wheel off the ground? Should I jack it up from under the engine?

    It's mine! All mine! Just bought a 2014 FJR1300ES. I LOVE IT!

Congrats! I'm getting a MRA X-creen to mount on top of the stock screen...

How to best power a heated vest?

Thank you so much! For now, I may just put 2 wires inside a heat-resistant tubing and fish it from the battery to the seat. Also, if there is room in front, I'll put a Fuzeblock box there later. It doesn't make sense having to run wires from the battery to a fuse box under the seat then run...

How to best power a heated vest?

Thanks. Mine is a 2014 A, not the ES.

How to best power a heated vest?

Thanks! I think I saw the dual powerlet for the FJR on Motorcycle Larry's site. What is this 'controller' that you were talking about?

How to best power a heated vest?

Thank you all. I'm going to go to Homedepot or Lowes and get some 14ga wires and will wire it up this weekend...

Can One Fork Be As Good As Two?

The 2014 FJR1300A has compression/rebound only on the right fork. The left fork has nothing except preload. I meant, right fork has preload/compression/rebound. Left fork has only preload.

How to best power a heated vest?

Thank you. That helps. Now I need to figure out how to remove the right side fairing to access the battery. It sounds easy from the owner's manual to remove just the right side panel that's on top of the battery then fish it all the way to the back... From this table...

How to best power a heated vest?

haha. I know. I bought it back in 1996 when I first started riding and it works great ever since after several bikes and I kept transferring to the new bike I bought. Of course being in Southern California I use it only may be a month or 2 every year.

How to best power a heated vest?

Thanks. I think I'll run it from the battery first. Do I just leave the plug in the front fairing area and plug my vest into it whenever I need it or should I run it all the way back to the seating area? I'm sorry for the dumb question. This is my 1st FJR, you know :-) Thanks. I have a set...

2014 FJR 'ES' in North Bay Area, Low miles, $14,000

Because if we buy a bike from out of state, we can't register it in California unless it has at least 7500 miles at the time of sale. It applies only to non-california models, I think.
