I did ask Cee Badly if their headlight protector has any uv protection and they said no.

A friend at work used it on his car, and from what I could see they looked like new. I even asked him if he replaced them. He said NO, I used the 3M kit that you put on an electric drill. I would say it works.

The headlight isn't so much oxidized as it's just seen a lot of miles, so it's pretty dinged up.

I apply the headlight protection film by Lamin-X to the headlights on my car and applied it to the FJR when new. The film can be ordered with a little spray bottle of solution to renew the UV protection in the film. The longest I ever had the film on a car was on my 2000 Altima which was totaled while parked in 2008. Headlights still looked new. FJR headlights still look new after 4 years and a couple of months. Granted the Northwest isn't known for its intense sunlight but I am convinced the film works.
