Have your friend look at the K1600forum.com there's a few very low miles ones listed there.. there's one with 300 miles, a 2013 model.. I had one and I don't anymore... care to guess why? (poor reliability...)

Ever notice how the moto journos never show pics of the ST1300 without the saddlebags? The FJR looks downright sexy without them, but the ST looks like there's something missing because it looks unfinished.

Check out Premier Cycles... they also carry a plug and play wiring harness that plugs into the tail light's wiring harness under the rider's seat so you can add a Givi topcase with Admore lighting for extra stop and turn signal lighting on the top case...

You might want to post this in the regional Southeast forum to reach someone local.

Another option you might want to look at is the Honda VFR1200F DC. For 2012 (or '13) it's been revised with a second gen double clutch tranny. There is no manual clutch, you can shift like on the FJR AE, or you can put it in full auto mode and not shift at all. It's 2 weak points is its limited...

It basically blocks the wheel spray towards the bottom of the shock.. ( That's a sweet hugger..) here's a lousy pic:

Thanks R, when my bike is back in the garage in March, I will have a more room to move around it and see how to get the panels off. I like the look better than the typical round sliders or the canyon cage.. kinda like the bumpers on the ST1300 and for me, the price was right :D

MSRP in Canada is $300. If you drop the bike from a standstill, I bet the fairing will cost more than that to fix or replace. I just might have to do that!! Mine are still in their factory package. I asked the dealer to supply me with a copy from the shop manual on how to remove the fairing...

Speakers on a bike are for sound, not audiophile sound... It's of no use at highway speeds. He installed them to use them in the city.. In that (speaker) space, I plan to install an adjustable convex blind spot mirror I picked up from Harbor Freight for a couple of bucks

Congrats!!! Have you been able to ride it at all since you got it home? I trailered mine form an out of town dealer a couple of days before xmas and the hardest part is storing it in the house without every riding it... c'mon spring!
