What is the correct alternator output then? There's no mention of it on the Yamaha Canada site.

I didn't want to cut into the panels or have any visible wires exposed, so I ended up doing this ghetto installation and it worked out ok.. the viewing angle is pretty good from the saddle. Just zip tied to the clutch hose, it's tight, it holds the unit in place without deforming the clutch line.

I had my dealer order one for me.. $10.. it came in a day later.. e-z on.. I haven't seen any US dealer listing a hugger for the FJR.. I presume it's a Pyramid plastics hugger.. same makers as the Fenda Extenda...which is sold here, but no hugger.
