    ABS -- front lever pulsing

I had this happen to me while I still had my problems with the front master cylinder. It would allow the lever to pull on light pressure, all the way back to the bar. since having the dealer replace the master cylinder, not problem. Otherwise, just make sure you have your suspension set up...

    questions 06 FJR A

I'm 6'3"and have a few ergonomic problems: windshield must be 4" longer, I use the CalSci extra tall to keep me from becoming fatigued by the wind on longer rides. It is now tall enough, but the angle is bad because the mechanism pushes the shield more vertical at the topmost position. My...

Throttle body sync at 600 mile service...

It's worth it. You can't tell they're off without checking them. Mine were off a little bit but the vibration reduction paid it off immediately.

front brake lever acts like leak in seals

Alright, I'm running..... Forgot to mention earlier that the reason given to me of why the tbs was not done at the 600 was "I didn't have the new service manual"............. That comment came after arguing that the tbs was required. Then he called regional whomever who told him I was right...

    Larger Windshields

I'm 6'3" tall. I spose you could say I have a long torso, so I am riding tall in the saddle. I bought the California Scientific xtra tall shield. I still have to duck 2" to get into silence, but it is not because the shield is too short. The problem is that the shield is too flat to the wind...

front brake lever acts like leak in seals

Back to the dealer today because they didn't do a tbs at the 600. 4 and 2 were off a bit. Dealer still says nothing is wrong with the braking issue. Best of all, they charged me for 1 hour labor (80 bucks) to do the tbs. this makes the 600 cost me over 300 bucks cuz they also "always put an...

front brake lever acts like leak in seals

c2insa, yes there is a problem and I have the same one exactly. I need to get the bike to the dealer ASAP and so do you. I started noticing this problem only while backing up with the lever bleeding down from day one. In the last couple days it has started doing it slightly while moving forward...

front brake lever acts like leak in seals

The bike is an 06 with 1000 miles. The issue is not a leak nor is it a pump up. If the lever is pulled with more force than I described above then the brake holds firm. It works perfectly at all levels of pressure except the amount of gentle pressure one would use if you are gently rolling to...

front brake lever acts like leak in seals

I'm a lurker that finally registered and this may not be a complaint but simply a question of the fjr's personality. When braking very gently with one finger on the front lever the lever slowly continues moving back toward the grip as if the fluid is bleeding out. If I do this long enough the...
