Gen II N-Line dash install instructions

I'd like a bit more info on the well nut I need for a first gen N-line shelf's front bracket. Is this something I should be able to find at the local Ace hardware store? I didn't see Anything matching at BikeEffects.com either.

    The Ultimate Tank Bag

I have no experience with this bag, but it looks interesting. https://www.ascycles.com/detail.aspx?ID=48137 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hl-Tdo4cy8&list=HL1342563091&feature=mh_lolz Another alternative: Except for the "secure" requirement, I really like the Rapid Transit Stack...

What did you do to your FJR today?

I installed the N-Line dash shelf, but need to go find a well nut for the center arm and a couple more rubber washers to clean things up.

    New suspension settings

Forgot to say that I'm 195 plus gear, setting up for 1-up mostly, and brisk but not aggressive riding.

    New suspension settings

This is excellent information. Thanks to all who have contributed! I have dialed in my settings to this at the moment: Front: 8,8.2,5 Rear: soft, 5 The bike feels so well balanced for me now!

What did you do to your FJR today?

Rode the long, back roads, rough pavement way home from dinner (including Old Woodonville-Duvall road, then W. Snoqualmie Valley Rd) And read the suspension tuning thread last night to check things out today.

How can you clean sticker residue from a map case window?

Just skimming that entertaining list, I've found my favorite:

How can you clean sticker residue from a map case window?

Both of my tank bags previously had stickers on the map window. When the stickers were removed, they didn't come off all the way and left a mix of paper and glue behind. I've tried cleaning with warm water and soap. No luck. How can you clean surfaces like this without scratching them?

WTB: Rear Inner Fender, Dash Shelf, Top Gun light mounts for Gen II

.. and I don't see anything back there that looks like it was trimmed, as this thread talks about: https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php?showtopic=17599&hl

WTB: Rear Inner Fender, Dash Shelf, Top Gun light mounts for Gen II

The front has some coverage: But the rear has nothing. I don't have another FJR around to compare this to, but it looks to me like there's no inner fender at all, not just that it was trimmed. Or am I missing something? More photos at...

All right, who took their Hayabusa up to 186 on Canadian roads?

Ahh, right you both are. It was being reported as a new incident, and I didn't see any recent posts on the goofiness.

WTB: Rear Inner Fender, Dash Shelf, Top Gun light mounts for Gen II

Will do in a bit. It may just be trimmed back, but it doesn't look like it as I'm poking around.
