I feel like a dumb@^^. I removed the gel pad and haven't had a problem since. Evidently the pad was pushing me toward the tank and my long arms were pushing me back putting a kink in my lower back. I rode to Road Atlanta this past weekend and didn't have a problem at all.

I removed the risers and the lean angle is more like my FZ1 now. If anybody know where I can find some risers for an 05, that rotate the bars out a little, I sure would appreciate it.

It's great to have them home. My oldest son has been gone for a year and a half. (US Coast Guard in Kodiak Alaska) He got to come home for 30 days and we are enjoying every minute. Doing a little riding when the weather permits and just hanging out together.

Just installed Bill's brackets and I am pleased with them. I am going to machine some 3/4" spacers to put between the pegs and the brackets to move them out just a little.
