I've owned the '07 FJR less than a month and I just hit 22,000 miles but I've noticed a new sound that is present between 2,000 and 3,000RPM. It appears the sound is coming from near the exhaust headers and is a simple steady tap or tick which is fairly quiet. Is it time to check and adjust...

A google search got me no where. Are the plastic colored side case covers replaceable? If so where can I purchase them? My right case has some deep scratches in it from being dropped by one of the previous owners and I would like to replace it. They appear they can be pulled off to change...

I just purchased a 2007 1300a with 22,000miles for $8000.....with too many scratches. I don't mean this at all....but I hope when you register it, it comes back stolen! Congrats!

If you use a smart phone you may want to check out the app called CRADAR. Basically you select an emergency contact, play with the detection settings (low worked best for me), start monitoring and if your phone detects a crash it will notify you to respond or it will send out a short emergency...
