+1 What ionbeam said.. You need to remove the whole brake foot peddle assembly, then clean and lube (C & L) all the parts. The part that is most likely the root cause of the sticking is the shaft under the foot peg. The only way to lube it properly is to take it all apart. Been there, done that!

Glenn, I have replaced all the brake fluid in my 2005 ABS FJR. From my experience there was no special consideration to the fact this is an ABS system. I treated the replacement just the same as a non-ABS setup. About 15k miles later, no issues. I hope this helps! Cheers!

I just got my 2005 FJR back from the dealer after taking it in with noises coming out of the right side of the engine. I advised the Service Manager that I thought the noise was coming from the Cam Chain Tensioner. Sure enough, that's what they replaced and the noise is gone. Parts and labor...

I don't post much, but this is one topic I can address... +1 on the Etymotic 6i earphones. You want isolation? I have used them without listening to music to block out wind noise. They isolate about as good as any soft foam plug out there. I can't stand wind noise even with my Araia. But...

OK, so how did you get the dealer to replace your shock? I still have my original shock, and it has 40k miles on it. I have YES and if there is some way to get a new shock with the extended warranty, I'm in.

Last time I rode the Dragon was in 2005 as part of the EOM out of Townsend, TN. We were on our way back from a 340 mile jaunt into SC and GA. Came back on the Dragon at night. That's a buzz! Nobody on the road then! ;)
