    Motorcycle Larry Passed Away

I think you are confusing him with Indian Larry. He died in 2004 from a head injury sustained performing one of his signature motorcycle stunts.

    2010 Yamaha FJR Intro

Not to sway you back toward the FJR, but I'll bet you can get the 2010 from D&H for $1500-$2000 below Yamaha's MSRP of $15K and change. Then again, if Yammy DOES produce a whole new bike for 2011 (like we anticipate for the 2011 Wing), you'll be S.O.L.! How's that for muddying up the waters!

    2010 FJR American Debut

I was told my previous post regarding the 2010 FJR was the same as another ongoing thread. The ongoing thread was the Canadian 2010 debut. This thread is regarding the USA spec FJR from the Yamaha USA website. Are the bikes the same outside of the USA/Canadian difference in price?

    Sirius or XM

I have both XM and Sirius. Sirius is my choice for programming. The XM music channels "cycle" through their playlists much faster, and even though there are no commercials on the MUSIC channels for both services, XM seems to do alot more chatting between songs than Sirius. XM offers a larger...

Nice Video, tought that you would like to see it !

Wouldn't break my heart or cause me to lose sleep if those dumbasses doing this on public roads are killed or maimed while performing their stunts. Unfortunately, they usually take out innocent people in the process. Ahhhh JD2, one of my favs. Like ponyfool, this is a two-edged sword for me...

Kawasaki Bring Versys to the US

This looks like a good all-around bike, and will compete well with the Suzuki V-Strom 650. Looks like the seating is fairly upright, and with some bags will be a great all arounder for commuting, touring, and just riding around on varying types of terrain. It's almost "dual-sport"ish....and may...

Hard to decide: FJR vs BMW K1200GT

From the description of what you are looking for in a bike, I'd say you described the Honda Goldwing!

    Passing of Ron Melton

Just thought I'd let you all know that Ron Melton, a member of this board, died yesterday (11 July) after being struck by a car. Ron was a great guy, and recently posted his pics and story regarding his trip to Alaska last month. Ron was active here and on the GL1800 board where I learned of his...

    CHP fires on Motorcyclist

The punk(s) were speeding...and not a few MPH over the limit. Then, they intentionally ran from the cops, even though they were in the wrong. The way I see it, those speeding clowns were putting me and everyone else on the highway in danger. I couldn't care less if they wrap themselves around a...
