Corbin passenger backrest + Givi E52 case?

I have a corbin seat with a backrest and the givi e52. I'll check the fit with both tomorrow. I usually run one or the other. I think the backrest will work with the e52, however I'm pretty sure you won't be able to lift the lid completely.

    Bill Mayer Saddle

She say's the corbin pushes her to far forward and makes her feel like she's sitting right on top of me. If you look at the corbin pillion seat it does have a little scoop to it that shortens the seat quite a bit. Plus on top of that the room needed for the corbin backrest slot there's...

    Bill Mayer Saddle

Anyone have any reviews on the pillion seat? My pillion rider doesn't like the stock seat... no surprise there. She also doesn't like the corbin I have now. So I'm looking again. I've thought about trying to go the Spencer route but not sure if that's going to work either

    Installing Universal Brake Light Flasher/Strober

Thanks for the write-up. Very nice. I am a little confused however. You tapped into the yellow wire to power your flasher unit. From my reading when I hooked up my fuzeblock I thought it was the blue wire that powered the tail lights. Is there a difference between the Gen I and Gen II? Or...

G2 Ergo Throttle Tube and Cam

When I put my grips on the VTX with golf tape I just used rubbing alcohol as the activator. I wouldn't think that would cause any damage to the grips

    Best Faceshield Cleaner?

    Plexus. Works great!

G2 Ergo Throttle Tube and Cam

Just out of curiousity has anyone used golf grip tape to reinstall their grips? I have on my VTX with kuryakyn grips and it has worked great. It's held for four years.

    Whelen LIN3 + Programable flasher = Wow!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you still needed to cut the power wire going to your brake lights correct? You just used the posi-tap connectors to connect every thing back instead of soldering or crimping, right?

    Spencer mod

That would be nice if someone could post a pic of the spencer mod

    Spencer mod

I've been thinking about getting the Spencer mod done. My passenger isn't happy with the stock seat or the Corbin. I've heard good things about Spencer. Is it worth it? What types of things does he need to know before working on the seat?

    Shark RSR2 helmet hurting

I have an arai helmet and thought the shields were a pain to change as well. Took several minutes. Not nearly as easy as other helmets. This winter I found a video on the Arai site demonstrating on how to change their shields.. I just tried the technique out the other day and it only took...

    Rear shock shot I think

I wish I could attribute it to that except the strongest thing we both had to drink was water and things were double checked

    Rear shock shot I think

Well, I got someone else to take a look at my rear shock. He did the normal push test and noticed the same thing, an awful lot of bounce. We adjusted the compression by turning it all the way in ( clockwise ) and the shock stiffened up. Backed it out 6 clicks and things seem fine. The shock...

    Rear shock shot I think

I think this is where the problem comes in. I don't believe the rebound adjustment is functioning properly

    Rear shock shot I think

Oh I definately will. But I'd say it's probably not looking good. Where's the best place to pick up new shocks. There's not a group buy going on right now and all the named sites (ohlins, penske) don't really give prices and let me easily figure out what I need.

    Rear shock shot I think

Looks like I'll have to start saving my pennies fast. I still feel a shock should last for more than 4400 miles. Probably only 1000 of those miles were two up ( no extra gear)

    Rear shock shot I think

I have an '07 with only 4400 miles on it and it seems my rear shock is shot. Workin with a friend to set up the suspension he came to the conclusion that it is shot. No adjustment seemed to help. The backend bounces quite alot. I weigh in about 185 and the passenger weighs in at.. well let's...
