I'm needing some new summer gear and I really can't afford Motoport. I would like to keep my spending around $200 on each piece, pants and jacket. I was looking at the Olympia Airglide but some cheaper gear seems like it may be just as protective. I was also looking at the Rev'it Turbine...

It's not just you! I don't like rding behind someone even if they are doing the speed limit (or a little more)! And what REALLY pisses me off is when I ride up to the only twisties within an hour from me and theres some jackass on a HD doing 35 in a 35 corner! What the hell!?!?! Don't they...

I got the smaller Rifle, 22 wide by 21 tall, and I thought it looked big at first. I'm guessing mine would look pretty small next yours. It sure is nice having a quiet ride though, isn't it? :D

I have heard some say to get vinyl instead of leather for “easy care”. Any opinions on this? Wouldn’t the vinyl be hotter?

I had the same thing happen to me in a 35 mph corner. I was following a buddy doing 55mph and he failed to give the warning sign of the gravel in the corner. He took a line that didn't hit it but I didn't see it in time. Lucky for me there was no oncoming traffic. I pulled in the clutch...

Thanks for the input guys. It really had nothing to do with the outside temp. Yesterday morning it was 62 degrees on my way to work. I'm going to do a flush for peace of mind, cut a small piece of the foam out to let a little more heat out, add my Bake Wings I just ordered and call it good...

Yes, I've thought about that. I was thinking that "Post FJR" I would go to a goldwing...then at about 65, a goldwing trike until I can't crawl up on that anymore.

Since I finished my heat mod on my Gen I (Foam in the side panels) I noticed the temp gauge hits 3 bars really quick. Any in town riding is at 3 bars now. And before, it would only hit 3 bars if I was stopped at a stop light for a minute. Is there any long term affect I should be worried about...
