    Heater Flaps

Startin' to get a little nipply here in Florida (low 40's this morning)...must be time to deploy the "Heater Flaps". Sure wish they opened up with the touch of a button...

    Dropped in the Garage!

Welcome to the club...I dropped mine when I first got it but it didn't trash the mirrors, although I have since replaced the narrow originals with the FZ-1 OEMs and they are great...good luck! Great tip from WFOOSHEE, BTW...I'll remember that one... :yahoo:

    Yamaha Super Tenere 1200

Great ride review but do you think there's enough clearance for the Darksiders to install a knobby truck tire...some of 'em may want to try it out at "Bubba's Mud Ranch"!

    Going to the Dark Side

Excellent suggestion... BTW, any talk of a "Darksider" slappin' a big ole knobby truck tire on that new Tenere?

    Yamaha Super Tenere 1200

Saw the Tenere at Barney's in Brandon, Florida, last Saturday...the Yamaha guys had the new Star Stryker for test rides and brought along the Tenere for us to look at. Apparently is was bone dry so they couldn't crank it but they did allow us to sit on it...what an ergonomic delight that...

    Going to the Dark Side

If you knew shit from shinola, you'd know you NEVER own cats. You feed 'em, you clean up their shit, you replace furniture they've ruined, but you NEVER own them. :****: CATS DON'T HAVE OWNERS...THEY HAVE "STAFF"!

    Penguin's new job.

Congrats, Jill. Change is good (and I mean career field as well as diapers!). My eldest daughter is a Certified Midwife but recently added R.N. to her name and works full time in the ER as well as part time back-up at the birthing center...it seems that although very spiritually rewarding...

    Storm Handguards by Barkbusters

Their web site shows they fit the FJR but you have to "remove bar end weight and attach to rubber mount", hence making the throttlemeister useless. I guess I'd have to decide which was more important, warm hands or throttle lock. Thanks...bigjimbiker

    Zoe took a quick nap...

I feel your pain, chivvalry, laid mine down twice in the garage and once in a driveway. I feel more stable at 80 mph than when I'm sitting still. Hasn't happened in a while, thank God, but it seems to be a rite of passage...bigjimbiker :yahoo: p.s. I had a nice new set of sliders on the...
