    Rear shock woes

Mine has 29xxx and the used one has 16xxx. Not sure if a used after market is any cheaper than new....after you purchase it you still may need to spring and service it before installing it.

    Rear shock woes

So I bought a rear shock from one of our members (good seller btw) thinking I could send it off for a new spring and rebuild. Meanwhile I can ride my bike with the original and limit down time. Well I had planed on sending it to this Sasquatch guy you people talk about but it seems he has gone...

Not sure Dave but 1/4 of the front brakes are actuated with the rear lever however the abs front to rear are independent.

Simple green, scotch bright pad-easypeasy! More of an interest and yes the front inside pad is down to two or three% while the others are at 20%. The front inside piston was harder to back into the bore at diss assembly That is what I keep telling myself, have you noticed my tag-Rydmohr. lol .

If you notice the pistons on the left, right caliper, are discolored.....this after a good cleaning. The black staining will not budge however the surface is smooth as new. History: 07 with non-linked abs and 29,xxx mi. Brakes have for the most part been ignored but enjoyed, I am probabbly much...

    '08 CA Charcoal Canister

Ok so I did the tee method and haven't seen any adverse effects. Also there doesn't appear to be any sucking of air at least not at idle. I will continue to run the bike as is and will investigate whether any hoses are connected to the throttle bodies the next time I have the tank off.

    '08 CA Charcoal Canister

Anyways...back on topic. I guess what I am trying to find out is if the tee method will work without issue's, just seems a cleaner way of handling it. In looking at the throttle body sketch one can clearly see the cal version has hoses connected to the air filter box but if they are connected...

Ok, so can someone explain what the "rollover valve" is and what it does?

    '08 CA Charcoal Canister

Am planning to add the tee on my 07 ca, just cut the hoses above the leftside crankcase cover. Your post has me worried tho, sounds like I will be sucking some air into the throttle bodies. Is that why there is a check valve on the canister? Should I be pluging one hose and running the other...

    How does your FJR steer?

Just like a sportbike only heavier. Designed to be a little top heavy for better turnin, makes it a little difficult at slow speeds like it wants to fall over. At the same time the bike handles mid to high speed corners smooth as silk. Enjoy! :)

I just changed my oil.... and......

Just a newbee here but I am replacing my clutch. 16000 mi apxt. One of the friction plates exploded and was in 20 pieces when I removed it. Because not all the pieces were recovered I pulled the oil pan where I found the missing piece and a lot of friction material. If I were you I would put...
