Yeah, I'd like to. The other guys are into a more...ah...leisurely pace, more like 160-200 miles per day. That's why splitting the loop into 2 days with a short side loop or 2 was just about right for them, so I don't think they'll come along, but I'd love to. Have to see how things shake...

Well, looks like our Spring trip is going to get bumped back, hopefully just a couple weeks...scheduling, back trouble...I guess that's life. Hopefully it'll come together over the Summer. Anyway, thanks to everybody for their help.

I've noticed the same thing on my Gen 1, and not on any of my other (non-FJR) bikes. I changed the fork oil last year so I don't think that has anything to do with it. I assumed all FJR's do it.
