This is a 2002 ZR7-S that I bought from FJRay on this forum. It was wrecked in the front and pretty much totaled. It would cost a lot to get the fairing and all of the plastics for it, so I decided to make it naked. It's running now, just needs paint and a few details (and better weather).

The staggered formation described recommends a 2-second following distance to the bike in front of you that is on your side of the lane. None of the bikes should ride parallel to each other as these guys tend to like to do.

I've had lots of cheap trailers (car and motorcycle) with 8" wheels and never had a problem towing up to 80mph. That said, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to upgrade that HF cargo trailer to 12" wheels. You just have to figure out how to mount the fenders a couple inches higher.

Exactly what I was thinking. There is a stretch panel of very heavy elastic on both sides of the waist. Taking out these panels and lengthening the velcro flaps is all I need to do, along with adding longer leg zippers and fixing the fly zipper.

I don't trust the Duolock fasteners that come with the lip. For one, it seems like it takes not enough effort to remove the lip from the windshield. Two, with frequent removal/replacement, it sticks less and less securely. If it flew off on the trailer, it is conceivable that it could fly off...
