Bungie has it right... You might try putting a wooden clamp on the side opposite to where you're working to help get the bead into the rim well. Collapsing the other side of the tire will give you more flexibility....

Made it home yesterday afternoon....700 + miles. Left Butte Montana Monday morning at about 4 am in the dark. Trying to avoid the heat... It was in the 90's going through Spokane at at about 8:30. Got out to the Island and the temp was 76 degrees. Nice to be home....Great to see some old friends...

I wanted to thank Don Stanley for letting me take his room here in Spearfish... I understand why Don specifically reserved this room... I has the largest pakking spot in the motel.so if your bike falls over, you won't hit anyone ... Additionally the room is handicapped accessable.......Miss you...
